“Bodybuilders’ World” buy Kurt Stallaert

The fashion and advertising photographer Kurt Stallaert (Belgium, 1969) is internationally recognized for his impacting images and personal style. Besides his professional work he has also developed a more personal art project he calls Bodybuilders’ World: a series of muscled men, women and children in a somehow queer imaginary world. Appealing images that threaten and seduce at the same time. With his work, Bodybuilders, the aim of Kurt Stallaert is to create a supernatural world, crossing the borders of imagination and making the everyday exceptional. (text Veerle De Saeger)
